How to order a Hypernode for Dutch customers

Our Dutch customers can easily upgrade a trial into a paid hosting plan via their Service Panel. Do you want to order a paid hosting plan right away? Please check the information on our Dutch website.

How to order a Hypernode for English speaking customers

Situation 1: I do not have a free trial

If you have not ordered a Hypernode trial yet, please order one via our website Hypernode.com. Only trials can be upgraded to a paid hosting plan. How to order a trial:

  • Go to our website and request a trial
  • A customer account will be created, make sure you set a password for your account (you will receive an email)
  • Migrate your shop to Hypernode and start testing

Take the steps below if you want to upgrade your trial.

Situation 2: Upgrade from an active trial

Do you have an active trial which you want to upgrade to a paid hosting plan? In order to process your order we need current billing details and credit card information. Submit your account details and credit card details first, then upgrade your trial.

Step 1: Enter your credit card details

We also ask you to update your credit card details in your customer account as we will charge your credit card on a monthly basis. Please take the following steps:

  • [Log on to your customer portal via my.hypernode.com]
  • Select the Billing Portal in the drop-down menu in the right-hand corner

  • Then select Payment Methods
  • Enter your credit card details and save all information

Step 2: To make sure that we create the invoice with the correct address information and to add your VAT number, check your billing information

When ordering your trial you had the option to fill in some billing details, like your contact details and email address. If you decided to leave these fields blank, now is the time to submit them.

  • Log on to your customer portal via my.hypernode.com
  • Select the Billing Portal in the drop-down menu in the right-hand corner
  • Then select Billing & Shipping Addresses
  • Enter your billing details and address and save all information. If you need invoices without VAT, it is required to add your Country and VAT number here too.

Step 3: Upgrade your trial

After saving your credit card details, click on Upgrade to a paid plan on your Control panel . Choose your desired Hypernode plan and click on Update subscription.

FAQ

I see no option to upgrade my trial?

Please check first if you have submitted your credit card details. It is not possible to upgrade without a credit card as it is the only payment method we accept.

How will I be invoiced?

We invoice you every 1st day of the month. This means you will receive a prorated invoice if you order your Hypernode plan e.g. on the 15th of the month. In this example you would receive an invoice for the first 2 weeks of usage, after that you receive 1 invoice per month (on the 1st of the month).

In which data center my Hypernode will be booted?

We make use of 3 cloud providers:

  • Combell OpenStack: Hypernode Start, Grow and Professional plans, booted in Gent (Belgium)
  • DigitalOcean: Hypernode Start, Grow and Professional plans, booted in other data centers around the world
  • Amazon Web Services: Hypernode Excellence plans.

All trials are booted in Combell OpenStacks data center in Belgium. If you upgrade your trial into a paid hosting package, your new Hypernode will also be booted in Belgium, except for Hypernode Excellence plans. If you prefer to boot a Hypernode in another data center, e.g. because your business is mainly in the USA, this can be arranged.

DigitalOcean and Amazon both have data centers all over the world.

  • DigitalOcean has data centers in: Londen, Frankfurt, New York, San Fransisco, Toronto, Bangalore, Singapore
  • The location of the Amazon (AWS) data centers can be found on their website.

Simply send an email to support@byte.nl and let us know which data center you prefer. We will then boot a Hypernode in your preferred data center and arrange the switch.
Please keep into account that a switch of data center triggers an IP change of your Hypernode!
